Getting Back After Holiday

Getting Back on Track after A Holiday
Holiday season is upon us yet again!

Whether it’s a mini break or a 2-week all-inclusive we want to be able to enjoy ourselves. That also means we don’t want to feel the guilts when we get home and can’t fit into the work pants!

Here are a few tips to help you get back to it!
Get back into a routine straight away!

1️⃣ Don’t pre-long the holiday by grabbing a take away as there is no food in the house, so many mini supermarkets are now open till 10pm everyday so there is no excuse not to grab something fresh on the way home from the airport.

2️⃣ Starting your day with a healthy meal and evenly spaced meals will maximise your metabolism, regulate your blood sugar and insulin levels, and level out your appetite. It may be tempting to cut back but starving yourself completely doesn’t work. Eating too little forces your body to switch into protection mode and burn fewer calories, which means you’re more likely to hang onto body fat.

3️⃣ Drinking more water flushes out excess sodium to help you quickly de-bloat, and it gets things moving in your digestive system to relieve constipation. Aim for 2 to 2.5 litres a day.
